The pioneers of active gaming have just rolled out their biggest content update of the year, introducing a suite of new and redesigned games across their locations. This fresh wave of innovation ensures that even seasoned veterans will find new challenges waiting for them.
Introducing: Cyber Grid
The crown jewel of the 2024 update is Cyber Grid, a brand-new game room that feels like stepping directly into a sci-fi thriller. In this room, teams must navigate a complex floor grid where light panels change color in unpredictable patterns. The objective? Work together to touch the correct sequence of panels while avoiding the “corrupted” red zones. It’s a frantic test of communication, speed, and spatial awareness that has quickly become a fan favorite.
Classic Games, Reimagined
Beyond entirely new rooms, Activate has also revamped several of its classic experiences.
- Mega Grid (Version 2.0): The iconic light-up wall puzzle now features more complex patterns, multi-color challenges, and new “speed rounds” that push teams to their absolute limit.
- Hoops – Infinity Mode: This isn’t just about shooting baskets. The updated Hoops game now includes a dynamic “Infinity Mode,” where baskets light up in rapid succession at varying heights, requiring constant movement and teamwork.
- Hide – Enhanced AI: The popular laser-dodging game now features an enhanced AI with smarter, less predictable laser patterns, making stealth and agility more critical than ever.
